back in 2011 a grey cat with a pop-tart for a body flew across the internet leaving a rainbow behind it, and nobody has fully recovered since. that cat is still flying. it never landed, it never stopped, it just waited out fifteen years of trend cycles in the black between the stars.
today the -CATE ending is the loudest thing on the timeline, tickers stacking up by the dozen, most of them gone by dinner. the rainbow cat did not need a new gimmick to fit in. it was already the original, it just had to wait for the naming scheme to catch up.
still the same trail. still the same pop-tart. still flying.
